that's been launched today? Have you figured how your life on the 'Cloud' is going to
be? Have you thought lately about buying your favorite car with that great
safety feature in it? Did you not think yesterday about the hassle free ways of
recycling your electronics?
Aah, forget it! I'm not going to give you solutions to your technology related problems. I am going to rather ask you a few abstract questions to which I do not have answers.
Take a look back into a few years of your life...hmm say 15 years. What gadgets did you use to write letters to your friends? How did you archive your memories? Did you watch your heart rate monitor after every work-out you did with your friends during summer break? True, our life has changed with technology in ways we would never ever have imagined. But that's not my point. :)
What fascinates me is the path going forward. How would it be like say in the next 15 years? What does man want to create after all? From push buttons to touch screens, from typed commands to voice commands, from a desk to online dashboards, from paintbrush to fancy animations, from telephones to Face Time, from servers to cloud.....and so on. Do you find any link here? Okay, without further ado let me make my point here. I just wanted to create a platform for the discussion.

Did you ever feel that the
technology we create and will create in the future is going to be an extension of
ourselves (us humans!)? We as humans like to feel, touch, smell, hear, express
without gadgets. Mmm...hh yes, precisely we want to do the same with our
gadgets. I always feel that at some point in the future we will create a
parallel world just like ours (the Earth's reflection...I guess).
Movies like "Inception",
"Matrix" and gadgets like the ones that Steve Jobs gave us...do they
not trigger a thought process in your mind? Are we going back to our very
nature or are we going to create the technology to remind us of what we are? Don't
have answers to these questions that keep bugging me.
